Agreement
Nimra is operated by Nimra Digital LLC. Nimra provides virtual internet-based (VoIP) phone numbers for making and receiving calls, text messages, and voicemail. By creating an account or using Nimra, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Nimra is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change or be improved over time.
Text messages
Nimra numbers receive text messages and, where sending is available on your number, send them to phone numbers in the United States and Canada. A number in Canada can text only numbers in Canada. Each text you send or receive costs a small amount of credit, shown in Settings › Pricing; a long text you send counts as more than one. A text that arrives when you have no credit is kept locked until you add credit.
Rules for sending texts
Texts from Nimra are one-to-one conversations that you write yourself. Only text people who expect to hear from you: someone who gave you their number, or who called or texted you first. You may not use Nimra to send bulk, marketing, promotional or automated messages, to text lists of people, or to send anything carriers forbid, including content about sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco or drugs, loan or debt offers, and scams or phishing. We may limit how many texts a number sends each day, refuse texts that look like spam, and suspend texting or the account for misuse.
Opting out (STOP) and help (HELP)
Anyone who receives a text from a Nimra number can reply STOP to stop receiving texts from Nimra numbers, and START to receive them again. Replying HELP returns a short message saying how to reach us. The first text a Nimra number sends to someone new ends with "Reply STOP to opt out." How often someone receives texts depends on the conversation, and message and data rates may apply for them. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No guarantee of delivery or third-party compatibility
We do not guarantee that any call or message will be delivered, received, or accepted by any particular person, carrier, or service. In particular, we make no guarantee that a Nimra number will work for WhatsApp, one-time passcodes (OTP), account verification, banking, or any other third-party service. Many services and carriers restrict or reject VoIP numbers. Numbers are not guaranteed to work for any specific purpose.
Your responsibility for how you use it
You are solely responsible for all activity carried out through your number, calls, and messages, and for complying with all applicable laws and the rules of any service you interact with. Nimra and its operator do not control the content of your communications or the purposes for which you use the service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Nimra for anything unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, harassing, threatening, or infringing, for spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or to impersonate others. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules or that we reasonably believe poses a risk.
Voicemail transcripts
Voicemails may be transcribed automatically so you can read them. Transcripts are produced by software and can contain mistakes; listen to the recording for anything important.
Numbers, credits & payments
Numbers are rented for a limited period and expire; expired numbers may be reclaimed and reassigned. Credit is used for calls, texts and forwarded calls at the rates shown in the app. Purchases made in the iPhone or Android app are processed by Apple or Google under their terms, and refunds for those purchases are handled by them. Credit has no cash value and is not refundable except where required by law. Prices and rates may change; the current ones are always shown in Settings › Pricing. Deleting your account releases your numbers straight away: they cannot be recovered, and any remaining credit is lost.
Emergency calls
Nimra is not a replacement for a regular phone service and does not place emergency calls over its own network. If you dial an emergency number (such as 911 or 112), Nimra hands the call to your phone's built-in dialer so it goes through your mobile carrier. Always make sure you have another way to reach emergency services.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nimra and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the service — including missed or undelivered calls or messages, failed verification codes, service interruptions, loss of a number, or loss of data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 30 days.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nimra and its operator from any claims, damages, or costs arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
Apple App Store
If you downloaded Nimra from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and Nimra only, not Apple, and Nimra (not Apple) is responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Nimra, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, and intellectual property claims. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also comply with applicable third-party terms (such as your mobile carrier) when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Termination & changes
You may stop using Nimra at any time and delete your account in Settings › Account & legal. We may suspend or discontinue the service, or update these Terms; the date of the latest version is shown here. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
